Principal Service Delivery Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Service Delivery engineer, you will manage, maintain and implement technical solutions and management processes across modern management platforms at an enterprise level using the company’s or a third-party’s hardware/software products and/or processes and methodologies. You will integrate solutions and strategies within the customer environment, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs and existing systems infrastructure. You will serve as a services subject matter expert to both internal and external customers across the supported modern management platforms. This position is primary work from home or within a Dell office. Occasional travel is possible (up to 20%) 
You will:

  • Lead team on Modern Management (MDM) platform(s), these include both Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE UEM, with an emphasis of general understanding of MDM concepts across both desktop operating systems as well as mobile operating systems.

  • Application Packaging for desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 11, macOS)

  • Application Deployment and Management on mobile operating systems (iOS, iPadOS, Android)

  • Integrate imaging processes (MDT, AutoPilot, ABM and others) with MDM tools and other Client Engineering service offers (LCH)

  • Provide mentoring and technical leadership to other team members within assigned areas

Essential Requirements

  • 6+ years of general systems/device management experience across legacy platforms (such as SCCM/ConfigMgr, Altiris, LANDesk, etc.) and/or modern management platforms (such as Intune, Workspace ONE UEM/AirWatch, MobileIron, etc.)

  • 3+ years of experience with OS provisioning, migration, design, and similar activities across Windows and/or macOS.

  • Experience in the Enterprise and Security features of Windows 10, and the Windows as a Service Model as well as knowledge of MS Security (Patch Management) and Active Directory

  • MCSE / MCITP certifications

  • 2+ years of experience as Architect / Team Lead with experience in the following: Consultancy, Vendor, or large enterprise, Windows 10/7, Image Deployment with SCCM OSD, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), USMT and Windows ADK/WAIK, VMware Workspace ONE or AirWatch experience, Experience With mobile device management, Windows 10 Desktop Analytics experience a big plus, Registering and Deploying Systems through Windows Autopilot, Registering, Managing, and Configuring Microsoft Intune Policies, Deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting, VBScript, PowerShell, bash, and Python scripting languages (software development experience a plus), MS Windows 10/8.x/7, MS Windows Server 2016/2012, macOS

Desirable Requirements

  • Win7/8.x/10/11, MCP, ACF, DDPS experience and/or certifications

  • JAMF, VMware VCP-Digital Workspace Certified
