We design and implement network and security technologies for organizations. As part of this team, you will help choose the right IT tools to maximize the effectiveness of deployed defenses and rapidly troubleshoot impacted systems.

What you’ll achieve

The Senior Advisor, Cybersecurity E&O will join Dell’s Security & Resiliency Office with the responsibility to support Dell’s Global Chief Security Officer in all matters of organizational management and execution. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and fast-moving, with the ability to independently lead projects in addition to being responsible for daily activities that ensure the overall health of the organization from an administrative and staff management perspective.

You will:

  • Work in collaborative team environment utilizing Agile development methodologies and principles, mentoring teammates, and learning cross functional skills to support a range of technologies as a product offering

  • Enhance data security and protection platforms according to business need through designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale systems, across multiple hardware and software platforms in a large-scale hybrid environment

  • Operate and solve issues in modern virtualized, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments

Essential Requirements

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related and 5+ years of professional experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Email Security & DLP tools

  • Advanced understanding of the Implementation and support of email security standards

  • Design and implementation experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. With emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to nontechnical teams

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT systems, domains, enterprise applications, DNS, networking, and data loss prevention technologies

Desirable Requirements

  • Industry-standard cybersecurity certification from ISC(2), SANS, or similar entity strongly recommended.

  • Proficient in a Development Language or Scripting.
