We design and implement network and security technologies for organizations. As part of this team, you will help choose the right IT tools to maximize the effectiveness of deployed defenses and rapidly troubleshoot impacted systems.

What you’ll achieve

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and fast-moving, with good analytical skills & the ability to contribute to and coordinate projects. You will be responsible for daily activities that ensure the overall health of the organization from an administrative & organizational perspective, gaining unparalleled exposure to a fast-moving organization, as well as access to & mentoring from the Director.

You will:

  • Research and monitor new vulnerabilities, attacks and exploits on infrastructure components and/or software
  • Perform analysis on the exposure of our current infrastructure and components against newest vulnerabilities and threats on the infrastructure and/or application layer with writing up advisories based on performed analysis
  • Write up papers/analysis on technologies and solutions deployed at Dell as relates to current exposure on known vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation activities and applicable controls required
  • Research existing exploit code for new and critical vulnerabilities and/or develops proof-of-concept exploit code for test and evaluation of mitigations solutions
  • Test out ideas and automating code for new and critical vulnerabilities using a solid, virtual lab

Essential Requirements

  • Student status
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with a growth mindset to learn new technologies
  • A strong desire to start and grow a career in cybersecurity
  • English knowledge at a communicative level

Desirable Requirements

  • Development experience in a high-level language (C/C++, Python)
  • OSCP or similar certification advantageous
