Senior CSP Partner Sales Engineer (Cloud Service Provider)

Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. This specific role will support Cloud Service Provider (CSP) partners in UK, helping them to create services solutions based on the full Dell datacenter products & solutions portfolio. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installation or system integration plans, we ensure our CSP partners get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior CSP Partner Systems Engineer, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams & CSP partners, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solutions & services for our joint end customers using the full range of company products and services.

You will:

• Make CSP partners “ready to sell” comprehensive services built on Dell products & solutions

• Act as technical authority in the CSP providing technical leadership and direction to both end customers and internal staff

• Successfully builds and maintains relationships with key CSP decision makers and influencers from C-level to solution teams, presales, product managers, sales directors, application development teams, ops and engineering.

• Drives awareness within the different SP stakeholder areas presenting the technical design and business value of proposed Dell Technologies solutions and business cases.

• Owns the creation and delivery of the Technical Account Plan, including future vision, service offering roadmap and partner enablement plan.

• Leads and owns Service Creation activities and deliverables with the Service Provider, working in partnership with sales and the extended team to create and expand the service providers catalogue using the full Dell Technologies portfolio (including Dell EMC, RSA, Virtustream, SecureWorks, Pivotal, VMware)

• Participates actively in the wider Service Providers community and other forums driving best practice sharing. Researches and communicates technology, industry and market trends and provides guidance on their application to SP and feedback of business requirements back into Dell Technologies in order to shape future Roadmap based on SP needs.

Essential Requirements
• Excellent communication, relationship and leadership skills in industry
• Ability to present to executive level and articulate the Dell Technologies solutions
• In-depth understanding of market, technologies, products and services
• 8 to 12 years of related experience in a relationship selling role

• experience in working with/for service providers (e.g. MSPs, CSPs, Telcos)

Desirable Requirements

• Advanced experience in a relationship selling role
• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
