Our devOps team ensures that our customers and our software development teams are supported with best-in-class infrastructure and workflows applying agile and lean principles. We work directly with development to provide and maintain pipelines that minimize developer overhead while also ensuring quality through automation.

What you’ll achieve
As a Manager 5G gNodeB devOps you will be a key member of a built from the ground up, high powered Ottawa R&D team. The team works as part of our global 5G R&D organization designing, developing, and implementing a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of the 5G Radio subsystem for operators, and helping our customers exploit this significant market evolution. The candidate for this role will be experienced in crafting direction and establishing DevOps practices for delivery of large-scale R&D projects.
You will:
Set the direction for a global team of over 20 developers, taking on the role of devOps Product Owner to gather requirements and translate them into a working backlog for the team
Assume line management responsibility for devOps team members working in the Ottawa based scrum teams
Assume functional management responsibility for devOps teams globally
Advocate for and contribute to achieving world class devOps infrastructure for our development teams and external customers

Proven track record of leading devOps teams from an early stage of deployment
