TheSASE business unit looking foraninnovative anddynamic leader with keen business insights, strong technical and communications skills, and a passion to win in the marketplace. This role is responsiblefor championingproduct &marketingneedsfor the service provider segmentfor new and existing portfolio of SASE products. Working closely with theproduct management& marketingteam,sales,service provider partners,and executive leadership,this leader will leverage his/her technical,marketing,business development,process and strategic skills towards executing high impactprogramsforthe SP segment that will drive growth forVMware.

Thisindividualwill help develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact withpartners,customersandprospectstonurture a vibrant ecosystem to deliver market leading infrastructure products that are optimized for the VMware platform and customers.

The role requires an individual with strong analytical, leadership, and partnering skills. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business and technical acumen;communication,persuasive andinfluencing skills and ability to collaborate withR&D, Executive Staff and sales leadership to transform vision into a realityfor theService Providersegment.

This person must also enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions for the broader service provider market leveraging the VMware cross product portfolio. In addition, this person will also provide guidance on strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities include

  • Aligningand drivingthe execution of theplatform, technology and go to market strategy for serviceprovidersegment

  • Proactively partnering with product and technical marketing to ensure the proper positioning and messaging for VMware SASE within the Service Provider

  • Working closelywith sales around enablementfor the Service Provider segment to drive business growth, while also identifying trends and opportunities within this route to market 

  • Partner Success – nurture and grow partnerships, internally and externally, in order to continue to build out our SD-WAN/SASE products and solutions for service provider

Job Requirements

  • Proven experiencein collaborating witha team of productmarketing& solution architects for delivering outstanding businessresults

  • Proven track record of creating vision, strategy, route to market plans including measurable operating plans to drive growth in SP segment

  • Over 12+years of in-bound and out-bound product management experience in a multi-national company that provides products and services to Service Providers, Enterprise and Cloud Segments

  • Working experience in Networking, Security, L4-L7 services, SDN/NFV and SASE services is essential;Knowledge in DevOps, Automation and IoT desirable

  • Strong business acumen and excellent mix of strategic and operational skills  

  • Ability to be a trusted advisor to your business stakeholders and leadership team 

  • Experience in managing culturally diverse and inclusive teams

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills

  • Strong ability to attract talent and build a Service Provider team/business
