Senior Manager - Telco Cloud

VMware Telco & Edge Cloud Business Unit is looking for a highly motived Senior Manager to lead a growing team that is building a cloud-native platform to accelerate the journey towards 5G. VMware Telco Cloud Platform enables Communication Service Providers(CSP) to reliably build, manage and run new generations of Network Functions across Multi-Cloud.
CSPs are looking to adopt virtualization and cloud technologies to transform the delivery of core network services and become providers of rich 5G and IoT services. With a proven track record in virtualization and cloud technologies and services, honed over 20 years of delivering best in class solutions to the Enterprise sector, VMware is ideally placed to be a leading vendor in Telco Cloud solutions for digital transformation and already commands a leading market share in this market segment.
The VMware Telco and Edge Cloud (TEC) Business Unit develops platforms and solutions for Telco’s wide area network environments from core to edge. We leverage core VMware products wherever possible, and work through our Telco and field sales teams and strategic partners to reach customers world-wide. Through our Telco Cloud Platform, we help VMware and our customers stay at the forefront of innovation in telecommunications networks.

•Lead and manage a team of highly talented engineers with direct responsibility to deliver complex features for Telco Cloud Platform
•Understanding the technical domain and being able to provide architectural and technical guidance, facilitate collaboration and communication within and between teams across the organization
•Lead the team to deliver releases on time and with good quality
•Lead complex technical design discussions across various stakeholders.
•Aligns team activities to program and business objectives that focus on Kubernetes Platform automation
•Continuously works with team to ensure effective processes, prioritization, and timely scoping
oFull working knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and commercial product development practices in a complex modern system.
o4+ years of experience managing and growing high-performing software engineering teams
oExcellent people management skills - communication, teamwork, and leadership
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
oDeep understanding of Cloud Native Architectures
oExcellent communications skills and able to lead a team of highly technical individuals.
