Job Role and Responsibilities:
At VMware we are growing our Virtual Cloud Networking team and looking for an experienced Account executive to join our team.

The Charter of the VMware Virtual Cloud Networking organization is dedicated to growing sales and the adoption of VMware’s next generation network virtualization and security platform, VMware NSX Data Center, NSX Security, NSX Advanced Load Balancer and SDWANby VeloCloud.
We work directly with NSBU Product Management & Engineering, the VMware Virtual Cloud Networking Field Engineer teams, and directly with customers to increase the footprint of VMware networking and security solutions within cloud computing environments.
As a VMware Virtual Cloud Networking account executive, you will be accountable for driving the sales cycle to ensure customer success and revenue goals derived from VMware VCN product line. You will be focused on selling the value of VMware Virtual Cloud Networking into private, hybrid and public cloud environments.
4-6 years’ experience in load balancing, network or cloud infrastructure sales, SD-WAN, networking and security solutions
Experience selling to Enterprise, Commercial or Government, Education or Healthcare
Developing and building out a territory and driving new logo acquisitions
Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model
Success working in a cross functional/matrixed sales organization
Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive, fast-paced and high growth environment

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Can work independently, but also has a huge desire to give back to the team
