Key role in Dell’s CPU and Peripherals Technologies Procurement team leading sourcing and relationship management end-to-end for silicon partners in support to Dell’s Telco Solutions Business (TSB).  Strategic resource leading internal and external relationship management to drive funding/investments, cost, policy, and executive engagement.  The role will require a fundamental understanding of Dell’s supply chain and sourcing processes alongside first-rate negotiation and business development skills.  Candidate should have strong analytic skills and comfort with data to ground decisions strategic negotiations with Dell’s largest suppliers.  Selected hire will also own key strategic initiatives throughout the year deliverable to Dell senior decision makers shaping our silicon partnerships.


  • Lead negotiations with strategic suppliers necessary to gain funding or cost requirements for development programs.

  • Own cross-functional sourcing strategies across PG, BU-CTO, Partner Marketing, etc. that shape long-term silicon partnerships.

  • Drive Telco silicon commodity, supply managers, Finance, Accounting, IT and Cost planning to shape and deploy commodity pricing.

  • Engage with suppliers, Partner Marketing, Product Development, and other internal teams to identify opportunities to reduce cost and increase funding from strategic suppliers on projects that align with strategic priorities

  • Provide overall management and support for strategic suppliers pricing and rebates across all commodities and lines of business

Essential Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 10-15 years relevant commodity and/or supply chain experience.  Graduate degree desirable but not required.

  • Deep technology sourcing experience a must-have along with knowledge of Dell solutions and processes and long-term industry trends.

  • Proven leadership skills, executive communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with emphasis on solving problems independently

  • High level of competence in analysis, interpretation and evaluation of information to deliver data-based frameworks.

  • Demonstrated operational, program, and implementation experiences including developing risk mitigation and preventative measures
