Lab Support Senior Engineer

Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. Independent and flexible, team members are always ready to adapt to the changing daily priorities. They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. What you’ll achieve
The Systems Engineer ensures that all system components are maintained, updated, monitored, and accessible, and available according the company’s standards; while partnering with other engineers in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of diverse solutions. Will manage the planning, development, installation and operations of software systems by evaluating current and future business requirements and provide support for all customers as it relates to directory services design, software operations, application security.


You will:

  • Provide consulting services to client and corporate technical staff for analysis and design of portions of complex integrated systems and communication solutions

  • Plan and architects lab infrastructure solutions

Essential Requirements

  • 7+ years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining AD infrastructures and security. Managing, maintaining, and monitoring the infrastructure that sup ports user authentication with Tier 2 or 3 support
  • Understanding and troubleshooting of LDAP in application and In-depth knowledge and understanding of DNS, Infoblox/BlueCat
  • Proficient in Scripting PowerShell and Python to Modify AD Attributes, Group Policy Analysis, GPO Configuration & Item-Level Targeting, and Workstation Configuration
  • In depth knowledge, Understanding of: Active Directory (AD) Attributes, LDAP Queries and SSL certificate, lifecycle management and Microsoft PKI and in Linux
  • Experience in SCCM / Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Experience with VMWare 6.x and 7.x

  • Desirable Requirements
  • Industry Certification in preferred (MCSE, VCP)

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server – Administration and Support, VMware – vCenter, vSAN, VDI, NSX, EMC storage / SAN, KMS, SharePoint, Windows, Deployment Services, PXE, and Basic Networking Concept
