Senior Sales Executive – Dell Financial Services – APEX Custom Team

Dell Financial Services is a market leading provider of leasing and financing payment solutions, as well as technology consumption solutions.  Our APEX Custom Portfolio of technology consumption solutions is the fastest growing segment in Dell Financial Services.   We are rapidly expanding and require an additional APEX Flex on Demand Sales Specialist to drive Flex on Demand solution sales across multiple account segments and/or geographic regions.   You’ll work directly with Dell Sales Reps, Dell Sales partners and our customers to help our customers achieve their technology and financial objectives.

What you’ll achieve

As an APEX Flex on Demand Sales Specialist you will be responsible for accelerating company revenue using our APEX Flex on Demand technology consumption offering.  APEX Flex on Demand is an industry-leading technology consumption solution that provides affordable elastic capacity, agility and improved information technology service levels.  APEX Flex on Demand is part of our APEX Custom Portfolio which allows customers to pay for our technology solutions based on how much they use.  You’ll act as a consumption subject matter expert for our customers building strong relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.  Your work will drive long term customer relationships and high Net Promoter Scores (NPS)

You will

  • Act as an SME and  trusted financial advisor to both external and internal customers
  • Accelerate revenue by using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to close APEX Flex on Demand transactions and encourage customers to utilize Dell technology products
  • Work with Dell core sales representatives to help close identified opportunities and uncover new opportunities by expanding our presence with new stakeholders in the account
  • Manage and grow the DFS flexible consumption portfolio for Dell products
  • Master the art of financial selling to financial decision-makers and C-level executives
  • Be a subject matter expert for the pay for use consumption and support sales enablement activities.

Essential Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years technology solutions sales experience
  • Strong financial acumen, with a degree in finance preferred
  • Data Center sales experience with a focus on servers and storage
  • Knowledge of consumption-based payment solutions and the IT industry
  • Outstanding customer management and strategic selling skills to enhance the success of our customers’ business and the growth of Dell Technologies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Desirable Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Federal Government sales experience and security clearances
