The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. We are currently seeking a Security & Customer Trust Senior Advisor to join the Security & Customer Trust team who support the sales process by providing responses to customer security enquiries.

You will:  

  • Establishes strong collaboration with the Product Security team to be understand the customer security enquires regarding Dell's products.

  • Respond to all potential and existing Dell Technology’s customers who request information about our Security practices

  • Defines and implements best practice methods, processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at scaling and increasing the efficiency of Dell’s customer product security inquiry processes

  • Identifies opportunities and executes projects to the successful outcome; works with business leaders as sponsors and process owners to realize the goals of projects

  • Partner with sales and services account managers, compliance leads and management within Cyber security, Dell Digital (IT); Governance, Risk & Compliance, Physical security, RSA security, Resiliency (Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery), Supply Chain security with a particular focus on Product security to effectively respond to Dell’s customer vendor assessments/audits

Essential Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of secure development lifecycle and vulnerability response process

  • Working knowledge of advanced concepts related to information security, general IT controls, application controls and technology risks

  • Advanced understanding of Cybersecurity key concepts with expertise in performing security control assessments utilizing established industry frameworks

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST Cyber, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, EU GDPR, PCI, and Cyber Essentials framework

  • Expert use of Microsoft Office (Work, PPT, Excel and Outlook)

Desirable Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • 8+ years of related experience, specifically in Customer Service Operations, Security Operations, Incident Response
