What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Advisor, Sales Planning and Strategy, you will drive strategic initiatives in sync with GBO Workstreams, including but not limited to Deal Velocity and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) to enable OEM sales teams. In addition, you will be the technology & process lead who represents OEM needs related to Dell tool enhancements: understand how tool enhancements will impact OEM, advocate for tool changes on behalf of OEM (Sales, GTM, RTB, etc.…), and draft PVD and/or detailed requirements documents for OEM enhancement requests.

Key Responsibilities

Annual Technology Enablement Project Lead annual project to document and advocate for tool changes on behalf of OEM

  • Deal Velocity Partner with Sales, Customer Program, RTB, and Early Engagement Solution (ESE) to identify insufficiency/opportunities in sales activities, develop consistent processes, and improve adoption through communication & training
  • Configure, Price, Quote Collaborate with GBO lead to keep OEM in sync with core team through tasks such as coordination of price changes, creation of quota validity period policy, and automation of quote refresh
  • Smartsheet Implementation  Design, develop and implement Smartsheet program management solution for Customer Programs to use while delivering customer customization projects – Includes late additions: adoption & hygiene Scorecard & Power BI analytics update
  • DSA Globalization Represent OEM on all project core teams for the globalization of DSA – includes requirements gathering, communications between OEM & IT and coordinating testing
  • Cost Recovery tool updates Manage enhancements to existing analytics
  • APEX for OEM & Partner APEX Console core team member Understanding use cases for OEM customers and partners while communicating needs to IT core team
  • ISG integration lead storage transition and provide cross functional support
  • Global Support on Storage operations manage issues to grow storage business to $2B revenue

Essential Requirements

Minimum 8+ years of related experience

  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective partnering and communication across cross-functional groups
  • Able to self start and drive outcome with minimal / reasonable guidance
  • In-depth understanding of internal and external factors that affect company functions
  • Advanced understanding of sales processes and tools preferred
