We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Security Compliance within the Security and Resiliency Organization (SRO). This role will report to the Director, Global Security Compliance within the GRC Organization.

This role will be responsible driving the Global Security Compliance program and strategy. The right candidate will implement practices that meet agreed-upon policies, standards and regulations and articulate the impact of cybersecurity and resiliency controls in the business. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understands and interacts with all areas of the business, either directly or through committees, to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services, including product security, cybersecurity, business continuity and Privacy.

  • Ensuring processes are in place to validate control compliance and ensure areas of non-compliance are assessed for risk or otherwise managed through security exception and risk management processes.

  • Provides regular reporting on the status of the security policy and compliance programs including to business leaders and stakeholders.  

  • Support the broader GRC strategy, building a Compliance ‘Service Center’ capability that drives modernized policy lifecycles process, controls testing, regulatory intelligence, metrics development, training and exceptions handling.  

  • Engage in continuous participation and partnership with other departments (Audit, Ethics, Privacy, IT and functional compliance teams) within Dell, and building/managing relationships to drive success of SRO objectives and Dell’s moonshot goals.

Essential Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Security, Cybersecurity, Technology and GRC with a bias to the technology industry.

  • Analyzing cybersecurity laws, regulations and standards impacting global operations.

  • Proven experience designing, documenting, and/or implementing a control frame work.

  • Ability to drive and globally integrate complex, multi-functional, cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing equities.

  • Ability to engage executive-level stakeholders on complex risk matters in a substantive manner with little to no oversight or guidance.

Desired Requirements

  • Travel varies depending on base office location

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Cyber Security or similar discipline preferred

  • Professional certifications in governance, risk, compliance, security, or resiliency.
