Senior Principal UX Designer

Join us as a Senior Principal UX Designer on our Design and Visualization team in Remote US to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As Senior Principal UX Designer, you will work with Product Owners, Executives, and other cross functional teams on design specific initiatives.  Interactive and Visual Design drives the delivery of a world-class user experience throughout the Dell Technologies portfolio. We add our expertise to a varied range of cutting-edge projects, focusing on ideation, user-flow analysis, wireframing, interaction, design, visual design, branding and execution. Our input ensures that our customers experience the highest levels of usability, desirability, and satisfaction.

You will:

  • Understand business processes and software architecture to build suitable user flows and define and select design system, component library, style guide.
  • Create mock-ups, wireframes, designs, and prototypes from business requirements.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to gain insights.
  • Work closely with our development team and business owners to ensure a consistent UX and be the voice of the user in the design process.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 8-years' experience in the user experience design field.
  • A broad skillset to cover the full range of user experience design – from high level concepts to implementable wireframes / flows.
  • Experience with Design Thinking, user research and agile ways of working.
  • Act as Senior Principal UX designer and be the decision maker.
  • The ability to communicate the value of design within a design and business context.
