Role Overview

Taegis Endpoint Agent is cross-platform product and a vital part of our XDR platform. The agent plays the crucial role of detecting malicious behavior and other activities to feed data into the cloud for further threat analysis. With the help of threat intelligence gathered by our world class security researchers and powered by amazing threat analytics platform we are able to detect threats and secure our clients infrastructure.

We are looking for a passionate engineer with good knowledge and experience in operating system fundamentals, data structure, algorithms, and interested to software development lifecycle at an enterprise level. You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with an experienced, cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, and security experts to develop our next generation endpoint sensor that seamlessly integrates with our cloud-native security analytics platform.  If you want to get into the cybersecurity space, and have an attitude and aptitude to solve difficult problems, come join us!

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop software with high concurrency and reliability requirements and low/no impact to end users.  
  • Participate in technical discussions around architecture, strategy, and development of next generation threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Follow Test-driven Development and adding Unit Tests for test coverage.
  • Triage, reproduce, debug, and fix issues identified in the product.
  • Build tools to support team efficiency and contribute to test automation.
  • Ensure high standards are being followed when it comes to design, coding quality, along with unit and component testing.
  • Work effectively on a geographically distributed team to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.   

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience with C++, and strong knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Understands software design patterns and has strong fundamentals of Operating systems, Networking
  • Experience developing applications using concurrency with the use of strong multi-threading

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in one or more of the following OS internals: Windows, Linux or MacOS
  • Experience with Gitlab, Cmake, Conan
  • Exposure to Virtualization technologies, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Exposure with Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience with software security areas including encryption, authentication, offensive and/or defensive techniques.
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile process
