Software Solutions Architect

What you'll achieve
The Software Solutions Architecture will consult heavily through the front-end stages of solution definition with Product Marketing to ensure successful delivery of the requirements and technical details of the Solution.
You will
Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include Technical POV or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
The solutions architect will partner with solution validation to define and implement a cross-functional validation solutions strategy. The strategy will include the workflows and tools necessary to implement.
Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions
Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.

Essential Requirements
Typically requires 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years with a master’s degree; or 8+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Ability to think strategically, deal with ambiguity, and influence others through effective communication
Must possess a demonstrated understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to develop key validation strategies, address technical problems, and resolve key issues.
Strong knowledge of the architecture and interdependencies of the PC ecosystem including HW, FW, Drivers, OS, Applications, and Cloud.
Experience working on complex software projects and ability to learn & retain complex business processes and technical details.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills.
