Attendee Experience Consultant

The Dell Technologies Experiential Marketing team is dedicated to bringing our brand to life through our global, flagship events and innovative experiences. The Attendee Experience Lead is integral in managing and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions and services that deliver best-in-class attendee experiences for in-person, digital & hybrid events.

You’ll work in close partnership with teams and agencies that specialize in digital marketing, event management, creative, communications, data & analytics and finance. In collaboration, you will be responsible for customer/attendee service, registration technology, dashboard & reporting management and insights, in-person event technology including apps and meeting tech, as well as website management (design & development). It’s all about innovation and breaking through.

What you’ll achieve

As the Attendee Experience Consultant you will ensure customers & partners have a best-in-class event experience that reflects our company culture and is fueled by innovative technology—from first communication in digital to registration services to digital/physical interactions through event end. You’ll help monitor and measure the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives and technology solutions as they relate to the overall event goals. You’ll guide our customer success team and be responsible for attendee communications and services to deliver excellent attendee experiences.

You will:

  • Operate as resident events technology expert and be responsible for customer service & success, designing front-end attendee experiences and overall event technology architecture, including solutions and new vendor selection, contracting and management.
  • Serve as events liaison to digital, IT and data teams and work collaboratively with these stakeholders to align on solutions that drive positive attendee outcomes and streamlined internal tools and technologies to support event management, from speaker / sponsor resource centers to session tracking to financial assessments.
  • Manage seamless tech integration across systems & tools that is both user-friendly and engaging by driving interactivity and gamification.
  • Manage technical aspects of key reporting tools and technologies (PowerBI, SFDC, Adobe, GoogleAnalytics, event websites, etc) used to promote and measure digital marketing effectiveness, manage registrations, track and manage financial reports, and report on leads.
  • Evaluate marketing and sales data to develop insights and suggest optimizations. Package and present insights and recommendations in ways that are compelling and meaningful to senior leadership.

Essential Requirements

  • 8 – 10+ years of related experience in program management & event technology.
  • Ability to lead or manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment and bring multiple stakeholders with varying priorities to agreed-upon, shared solution.
  • Excellent customer service skills with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills: Ability to collaborate, delegate and train/mentor new team members.
  • Broad experience with event technologies: Registration, mobile apps, heatmapping & RFID scanners, meeting tech, and more.

Desirable Requirements

  • Design knowledge & creative direction for websites and tools: UX / UI, content and copy skills, image selection.
  • Proactive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong desire to improve & simplify processes.
