What you’ll achieve
As a Business/ Data Analyst - Product/Portfolio Analytics , you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business you will also support end users to determine information requirements.

You will:

  • Develop and co-owns the logic of various calculations and definition of metrices

  • Expert in feasibility study and decides if the data or calculation or metrices must be included or not: effort vs benefits

  • Ensure the accuracy of the data by leveraging business context.

  • Work and collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientist to translate user requirements into presentable, structured and logic storyboarding.

  • Create tools to enable user to perform on-demand analysis and deep dives.

Essential Requirements

  • Should have worked as a Sr. Business analyst / Consultant with a reputed organization. Past experience in technology industry or product marketing/Supply chain function will be well appreciated too.

  • Preferably 6-8 years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree with equivalent experience

  • Expert in exploration data analysis and proven track record of solving business problems effectively by leveraging large and varied data sources.

  • Good understanding and awareness of software products like Data Protection / Converged Infrastructure / Blade / Data Pro would be very desirable for this role.

  • Strong experience and knowledge developing Tableau solutions including LOD (Level of Detail), expressions, custom calculations , MS Excel, SQL development and multi-dimensional design.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field.

  • Domain understanding of Storage and Server products
