Finance Program Manager - APEX Custom
Location: Round Rock, TX or Hopkinton, MA
The APEX Custom Finance team performs sales operations, finance operations and financial analysis to support the APEX Custom business. We are an essential component to the post contract experience for our customers and internal stakeholders. We enable complex transactions, manage P&Ls and provide analytics on the business. What you’ll achieve
The APEX Custom Finance Program Manager will lead our organization through a transformation to modern financial systems and tools. The Finance Program Manager will be project managing a series of strategic initiatives to improve processes and systems as well as lead programs, consult stakeholders, build requirements documentation and design future state systems. In addition, the Finance Program Manag will engage in process excellence initiatives with the finance team to reduce churn and enhance controls. This role will drive critical automation activities that allows us to scale.
You will:
Program manage strategic financial systems transformation initiatives
Consult stakeholders, build requirements, design process flows, and track status
Engage finance, accounting, tax, invoicing, sales operations and legal for subject matter expertise
Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities and drive projects that result in measurable outcomes
Drive these projects from definition, planning, execution, and change management through standardized project management approaches, working in partnership with various functional and technical teams

Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of Project / Program Management experience in finance
Ability to think tactically, strategically, and creatively having sophisticated interpersonal skills; Develops good relationships with business partners
Ability to understand financial drivers and outcomes in the business and explain these to non-financial colleagues
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence key decision makers and to achieve results by effectively collaborating with key stakeholders through transparency, partnership, and predictability
Goal-oriented results driven self-starter with a strong desire to see tasks through to completion. Realistic and pragmatic approach to objectives
Desirable Requirements
Resilient and the ability to work independently to deliver results
Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external), attention to detail, flexibility, command skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and be a team player
