Global eCommerce Portfolio Manager

What you’ll achieve
As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with the business partners and GeX leaders to bring transparency to financial and operational portfolio plans that support the GeX Experience. You will drive cross-functional discussions to align the overall budget and hiring plans for the team and drive strategic initiatives focused on optimizing how we operate day to day. Lastly, you will take steps/measure to make operational tasks for our GeX leaders be as seamless & concise as possible.


You will:

  • Manage L5/L6 budget and ensure our operational plan aligns with our quarterly budget.
  • Manage vendor funds, hiring plans, training plans and overall operational plans for the portfolio/leader assigned to you.
  • Ensure incremental spend for our product lines aligns with the budget received via multiple funding sources (self-funding, enterprise roadmap, IT roadmap, product capacity)
  • Identify opportunities for process & tools improvements as we interact with consumer and commercial business stakeholders as well as internal Dell Digital interlock teams to achieve our GeX operational and financial plans.
  • Partner extensively with internal customers (i.e. product managers, project managers, cross product leads, CSB business, Commercial business, etc.) to keep our operational plans in sync and accurate.

Essential Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Dell Digital eCommerce space
  • Solid grasp of annual IT roadmap sizing and budgeting process
  • Demonstrable ability to lead discussions with senior leadership team with confidence
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills


Desirable Requirements

  • Proven working experience in project management and budget management
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse project teams across the globe
