Legal Operations Technology Requirements Manager

Location: Remote (United States)

Legal Operations provides all the administrative, reporting and program management support they need to succeed. Whether focused locally, regionally or globally, Legal Operations professionals develop plans, oversee programs and processes and maintain records. They review legal data, provide policy information and legal advice across the organization and manage a wide range of legal business matters.

Join us as a Legal Technology Requirements Manager on our Legal Operations team in the United States(Remote) to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you'll achieve

You will work with our legal practice areas and technical developers to map out current and future state process and align legal functional and non-functional requirements with development teams. 


You will:

  • Align with IT on upcoming capabilities to serve as the business/ process architect for Legal ​
  • Based on upcoming scope, plan for, and drive the process for bringing in Attorneys for subject matter expertise and input on the Legal requirements and legal approvals on technical requirements ​
  • Manage Specification update process on behalf of Legal, understand and document compliance-related tie-offs​, and draft and review Epics ​
  • Create current and future state process maps
  • Participate in user-acceptance testing (UAT) on behalf of Legal and formal sprint cycle planning, reviews, and demos 

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Experience organizing, coordinating, and leading teams in analyzing, documenting business requirements, functional design for development and working in complex multi-team initiatives
  • Strong experience with process optimization, business process and/or data workflows and building/implementing large-scale global programs around technology/tools to enable a business function
  • Thought leader with strong communication skills: articulate and able to modulate communications based on audience; strategically agile; adapts well to change; ability to demystify complex activities and convey in a simple, straight forward manner
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or project management experience within a corporate legal department, law firm or legal vendor firm
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile Product delivery


Desirable Requirements

  • Other Project Management certificates
  • Six Sigma Certification or other process optimization experience/expertise
  • Enterprise Architecture and Design fundamentals
