Marketing Operations Senior Advisor

Location - Remote (United States)

What you’ll achieve

As a Marketing Operations Senior Advisor on our DFS Marketing Operations team within the N. America CSMB Organization you will help solve some of our most challenging business problems and you will be integral to delivering real business outcomes in the Consumer & Small Business segment. You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution processes for all CSB account-based marketing activities.  You will build strong relationships with our key stakeholders across Dell and DFS Marketing teams to understand business needs and pain points. This position requires expert synthesis of a variety of research and process understanding and will be responsible for constructing, recommending, and executing marketing actions with outcomes.

You will:

  • Serve as a requirements analyst in determining reporting and analytics needs for business partners.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure plans align to key organizational priorities
  • Manage timelines, targets and deliverables in adherence to the various marketing vehicle processes
  • Identify and work to solve any process gaps through effective communication & collaboration with partners across DFS and Dell marketing teams
  • Coordinate data requirements with analytics support teams. And, in some cases, gather data yourself when it is operationally feasible
  • Package and present insights and recommendations in ways that are compelling, meaningful and appropriate to the audience, including senior leadership, peers and other stakeholders. 
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems used to generate, distribute and report on leads
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness and business impact
  • Explore new technologies in order to improve and optimize marketing team performance

Essential Requirements

  • 5–8 years of related experience in a marketing operations function
  • Proficiency in marketing operational processes and systems with ability to design new processes, including automation where possible
  • Ability to critically assess and synthesize a wide array of processes and business needs to arrive at large-scale marketing opportunities and recommendations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to access and use internal databases
  • Experience utilizing necessary consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, and translation to value.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in simplified terms to executive-level audiences 
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to improve processes
