Product Development Management is a fast-paced environment where innovative thinking is prized. Our team focuses on the delivery of products or computer-based systems for external customers. We lead and deliver the entire lifecycle from product definition and planning through to production and release. We also oversee modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. And to make the whole process run smoothly and seamlessly, we’re experts in project management, from initiation through to delivery, and liaise with other departments on technical matters.
The person in this role will be a Product Manager across Dell's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) focused on helping provide analyst insights into product development through go-to-market including executive thought leadership. This is a remote position based in the U.S.
Understand the market perspective of analysts and use that knowledge to help inform ISG decision making in both products and communication
Proactively drive the Dell ISG market point of view to influence analyst perspectives
Partner with global analyst teams on the holistic Dell Technologies analyst strategy
Develop strong working relationships with the analyst community
Help define purchasing strategies and priority content from existing analyst market research while shaping future research
Influence ISG Product Management decision making via knowledge of customer/analyst research information and perspectives
Provide ISG executive team communication on ongoing analyst insights to help craft strategic direction
Build and implement a cross ISG analyst community strategy
Collaborate with other customer and research teams towards a common customer/analyst point of view of market trends
Establish a thought leadership plan to best utilize industry insights for communication in all go to market activities
Undergraduate degree and 5-8+ years professional experience
Product Manager for 5-10 years
Extensive work with analyst community
Proficient with various tools to do market research
Long history of gathering customer requirements for product development
Capable of working across broad teams to align on one vision
