Project Management Advisor - Remote, US

The center of competence (CoC) plays a critical component in enabling Dell Technologies growth and success in the market. We proactively lead data-driven actions optimized around every point of the customer journey.  The North America (NA) server CoC is responsible for driving the growth priorities via detailed operational plans. This role resides in the Programs team accountable for driving key revenue generating activities in concert with our Field Marketing organization and the sales teams. 

The role will focus on our order support escalation process looking to streamline and improve the communication and activity around fulfilling server orders – working to properly release orders based on supply availability and deal prioritization.  The ideal candidate will be process-minded, an effective communicator, and be able to work cross-functionally with sales and order fulfillment teams to prioritize orders for production.  This opportunity is a great entry to the Dell team with great access across our sales and supply chain organizations and positions this candidate for a springboard opportunity into future roles in the organization.    

Key Responsibilities (What you will do):

  • Monitor and respond to order escalation requests, ensuring all relevant data is collected to properly prioritize and schedule production.

  • Collaborate in regular “sync” meetings to incorporate new supply data and implement plan changes as needed

  • Act as control point and manage service level of incoming escalations. Track throughout the fulfillment process.

  • Handle simple activity reporting, and provide insights on potential improvements to the escalation process.

Requirements:

  • You have proven, strong and efficient communications skills – you are able to provide the right information to the right stakeholder to spur action or give a concise update

  • You are highly organized and a self-starter with strong change management skills, you can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in navigating tools and process workflows, governance, and using analytics tools

  • Basic program management and timelines management skills to drive deliverables; Ability to identify opportunities to improve a process or tool.

  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations

  • Knowledge of Dell Sales and order processing procedures is a plus.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or related field

  • Ability to communicate clearly and multi-task in a dynamic environment

  • Collaboration within the team and partnership development outside of the organization

  • Capability to identify improvements to existing workflows and deliverables
