Senior Principal Software Engineer

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

  • Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery andbe an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development,test,and delivery

  • Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes

  • Assist in training, work assignment and mentoring of less experienced developers

  • Be a domain specialist in one or more technical programming specialties

  • Responsible for scrum and agile excellence.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise & Solutions Architects across the division to ensure standardized, high quality, architecturally sound tactical implementations.

Essential Requirements

  • 12+ years of software development experience

  • Strongdevelopment/programmingexperience in.NET(C#, .NET framework and .NET core)

  • Strong knowledge of Computer Architecture

  • Experience in design ofapplications on Windows OSwhich interact closely with hardware devices, operating system core and IPC. 

  • Knowledge of BIOS, hardware interfaces, device drivers and WMI.

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ 

  • Experience with databases development in SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL.

  • Detailed understanding of key business processes

  • Ability to communicate and translate needs to technical solutions

  • Knowledge of automated testing tools and procedures

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field

  • Understanding of windows hardware APIs

  • Strong hands-on experience in data structures, multi-threading,async programming andIPC.

  • Knowledge in PowerShellandMSBuild.

  • Knowledge of TDD and CICD DevOps

  • Knowledge of security concepts and authentication protocols

  • Hands-on experience in security analysis tools like Fortify, Coverity,CheckMarx,Blackduck.

  • Experience in using tolls likeJira/Github/ Jenkinsfor agile developmentmethodologies
