Our Software Quality Engineering team ensures that our next-generation software is of the highest quality. We conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. We debug software products, oversee the development of test plans, ensure system tests are documented, analyze the results, provide feedback to developers and make sure that all problems are resolved. We also select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards.

What you’ll achieve
: As a Quality Architect, you will be responsible for working with Dev architects to design in quality and execute complete end to end strategies that verify the quality. You will partner with DataDomain engineering on DataDomain next generation and APEX solutions.
Determines quality / serviceability / supportability / testability / debuggability requirements from a systems perspective.
Using independent judgement to determine course of action and accomplish goals and objectives. Serves as quality consultant and technical team leader, provides input and consultation on crucial organizational and corporate objectives.
Evangelize quality approaches and improvements up and down the organization.
Advocates simplicity of customer facing solutions that mask complexity and strive for ease of use to service and the customers.
Write complex high level quality strategies that cover multiple groups /teams / departments from a system point of view.

More than 12 years’ experience in an engineering role
4 years as quality architect working from design through delivery
8 years of data protection background
6 years’ experience with storage products
4 years of automation experience
Has lead cross functional engineering teams as a technical leader (not the manager) to establish new approaches and to mentor top technical talent
Expert level understanding of engineering processes (waterfall, spiral, agile) and the pros and cons of each.
Engineering best practices / rigor and hygiene to achieve quality product
IT or Admin experience
