APEX Product Marketing Manager - Claims

Key Responsibilities

As the APEX Product Marketing Manager for Claims, you will develop impactful claims statements that help differentiate APEX - Dell Technologies’ industry leading portfolio of as-a-service solutions.  With work across business units and at levels from individual contributors to senior executives; you will be able to have significant impact on how we help customers understand the unique value of the APEX portfolio as well as helping marketing and sales lead with impactful messages (and content) that drive differentiation, engagement, and conversion. You will also work with Dell’s Customer Reference and cross-functional teams to develop compelling customer stories and analyst research that illustrate the value of APEX and lead to the development of additional claims. You will:

  • Develop new claims to support APEX offers, launches, events, press releases, messaging creation and other marketing activities
  • Influence the creation of new case studies that focus on customers and narratives that support primary APEX messaging pillars
  • Drive external amplification of customer references and claims materials through the development of blogs, social media posts, PowerPoint slides, and other content vehicles and channels
  • Work cross-functionally to integrate claims and customer references materials into their work streams as well as identify/develop 3rd party research/whitepapers
  • Perform gap analysis to identify future claims & customer references needs


Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in product/portfolio marketing for business-to-business IT/Tech products, with 3+ years’ experience in as-a-service or cloud
  • Experience creating claims statements that support the development of marketing materials and sales collateral that meaningfully impact customer perceptions and address key customer needs and concerns
  • Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex technical topics to both technical and C-level audiences in compelling, innovative, and informative ways
  • Someone who can deal with ambiguity, create clarity, inspire confidence, owns outcomes, works well in a team, and has a bias for action

Desirable Requirements

  • BS in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, etc.) or marketing; MBA preferred
  • Previous experience in, using, or working closely with IT
