Job Role and Responsibilities

VMware is looking for a talented individual and team player to fill a highly collaborative role within our Cloud Sales organization.The Global Cloud Sales Community Lead will be responsible forensuring alignment and representation across a broad set of stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally, whilesupporting these audienceswithinthe Global Cloud Sales Readiness Framework.

  • Partner closely with the global field leadership to understand goals, assess current state needs, and provide viable and efficientsolutions.

  • Liaison to the Cloud Sales Community globally and provide field level insights to ensure that Readiness strategies are meeting evolving needs and in alignment with global priorities.

  • Assist in the execution of a scalable enablement strategy and continuous readiness across all geographies and teams.

  • Aide in development and delivery of strategic plans and reporting to key stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders / aggregation points and handle conflicting situations in a professional manner.

  • Experience with VMware products and solutions and/or public cloud entities such as AWS /AVS /Google/ Microsoft / IBM 

  • 3+ years direct and / or indirect solution sellingexperience.

  • Excellent presentation and speaking skills.

  • Skilled and efficient in development & review of presentation collateral at multiple audience levels.

  • Ability to take strategic direction and apply best practices without detailed guidance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in multiple routes to market in varying capacities as well as experience in multiple verticals including Public Sector.

  • Previous experience as a pre-sales technical professional or direct selling associate with industry certifications

    This position can be based in any major metropolitan area in the U.S.
