As a Software Senior Engineer, you will be working at the cutting edge, designing and developing solutions protecting data everywhere from modern software-defined data centers to workloads running in hyperscale hybrid and public cloud environments.

What you’ll achieve
As a Software Senior Engineer, you will help shape the vision and deliver on the next generation of automation and tools for the NAS suite of products.
You will
- Design and implement automation solutions to enable test workflows in multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
- Focus on increasing the quality of code by reviewing, providing feedback, and improving solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, develop new software engineering processes, re-evaluate existing processes.
- Help mentor junior engineers to unleash their full potential.
- Represent the organization on project teams and perform technical project leadership roles as needed. Sphere of influence is to extend outside of work group or department.

Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Extensive experience in Python
- Familiar with Distributed Systems concepts and design
- Extensive database knowledge
- Experience in CI/CD tools
- Strong Software Engineering fundamentals
- Experience with cross-team collaboration, risk and dependency management
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Understanding of software engineering processes and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Configuration Management (Salt, Puppet) is a plus
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure
