Solutions and Use Cases Marketing Manager - APEX

Key Responsibilities

Solutions and use cases are how customers succeed with APEX. You will be the key person responsible for APEX solutions and use cases, defining everything from the plan, all the way through the execution and reporting out of KPIs. You’ll work across teams to define success and then help deliver it, working with product teams, marketing, sales, social, comms, and other teams across Dell. This is a highly visible role, so if you love to take customer in approach to marketing, and you’re knowledgeable and passionate about how organizations use core IT assets to create business benefits, then this is a job where you can shine!


You will:

  • Be the APEX team member on point for all solutions and use cases marketing and work across Dell with a diverse set of teams to execution of the marketing plans for solutions and use cases.
  • Define categories, criteria, and content for APEX solutions and use cases that will help describe, differentiate, and deliver customer value based on APEX offers
  • Build content for targeted use case/solution categories including customer journeys, marketing plans, messaging documents, sales presentations, blog posts, webpages, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral as needed to deliver the success of APEX use cases and solutions
  • Define, track, and report out on progress/measurements/KPIs of APEX solutions and use cases assets and market comparisons success


Essential Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in business-to-business IT/Tech solutions marketing, with 3+ years’ experience in as-a-service or cloud
  • Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex technical topics to both technical and C-level audiences in compelling, innovative, and informative ways
  • Someone who can deal with ambiguity, create clarity, inspire confidence, owns outcomes, works well in a team, and has a bias for action 


Desirable Requirements

  • BS in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, etc.) with an MBA
  • Previous experience in, using, or working closely with IT, Developers, and/or DevOps
