Senior Analyst, ODM Ops Planning

When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible forODM capacityplanning forWWClient (Notebook/Desktop/Tablet/IoT)demand

  • Plan rolling 13 weeksofsales,buildand ship planning for multiplefulfillmentmodels i.e.Configure-to- Order (CTO), Build-to-Plan (BTP) and Build-to-Stock (BTS)

  • IdentifyODM factory equipment line requirements and work with ODMs to secure rightequipment capacity to meet demand  

  • Plan and negotiate ODM factory staffingcapacity to fulfill on-time customer delivery and cycle-time 

  • Manage and executeproducttransitionplanningthrough close collaboration with Core Team on supportabilityLaunch,Sustain & EOL

  • CoordinatewithRegional Supply Chain Planning (DAO, EMEA & APJ) on demand phasing (pull-in or push out) requirements based on ODM factory capacity situation 

  • Proactively manage productlead-time recommendation toRegionalSupplyChainPlanning

  • Manageand driveODM facility start-up & shutdown

  • Drive key metrics like forecast accuracy, capacity utilization andon-time performance (OTP).  

  • Roll out innovative technology and business optimization models that increase supply chain capabilities.

Requirements:

  • MBA/Bachelor of Supply Chain, Business Engineering or Science

  • Strong eye for details, analytical and comfortable in working with numbers to build complex work-sheets

  • Possess strong team dynamics to work across global,virtualandmatrixorganization

  • Mandarin speaking preferred (to converse with China andTaiwan ODMs).
