What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

Due to parental leave, the ANZ team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team for a 12 month period. You will work with a team of recruiters, sourcing specialists, scheduling coordinators, Talent Acquisition Leaders, HR Business Partners, and specialists to hire the best talent and provide an exceptional candidate experience.  We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager, ideally with experience within the technology sector. 

Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, your day will include consulting and partnering with the business and ANZ VP. You will continue the great work already in place to uncover their business requirements and help them through the interview and selection process, whilst ensuring we maintain our employment brand to attract top diverse talent to join VMware.

Specific goals:

  • Continue our success in pipelining and hiring Diverse talent
  • Build on a performance culture within TA

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

- Lead the ANZ TA team

- Build trust and relationships within the business to continue momentum of a strong TA function

- Use data to impact talent acquisition strategy

- You thrive on a diverse plate of requisitions, partnering with geographically dispersed candidates, hiring managers, and teams. You leverage imaginative and innovative sourcing tools with a focus on building and improving upon the processes and tools that drive us to do what we do, but better.

- Whilst this role is the Lead for TA in ANZ, you will need to be able to roll up your sleeves and be a hands on recruiter, whilst also providing guidance when required to the team.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

The role reports into the Director TA APJ (based in Singapore).  The team are experienced and able to work autonomously and are engendered with trust to make decisions and manage their workloads, with the Director’s support at a senior level.
