Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you’ll achieve
As a Power Firmware Engineer, you will design, review, modify and evaluate ISG power solutions from PSU (power supply unit) partners and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for electrical, firmware (FW) design and coding. Also, you will participate in engineering review with tech providers and/or PSU partners to validate the robustness of PSU FW design IN standalone and system level as per Dell PSU and system behavior specification.
You will:
- Drive innovative power supply solutions for server, storage and networking systems.
- Provide constructive FW solution and coding feedback by working with world-wide digital signal processor partners, PSU partners’ FW team and system SW/FW architect on project technical discussion as well as new patent mining.
- Design/review PSU DSP (digital signal processor) FW, relevant coding flow and control algorithms; document FW behavior and script the validation test program to qualify PSU electrical feature; control algorithms and FW coding to achieve the best quality in the world for Dell product.
- Ensure deliverables are met per program schedules.
- Engage with suppliers and cross-functional teams (system teams, portfolio engineering team, system FW team) to ensure the success of power supply FW development, power management feature sets and Dell ISG systems.

Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electrical Engineering and expect to graduate between 2022 February to 2023 December
Good understanding in Electrical or Electronics Engineering in analog and digital circuitry design especially in Power application field.
Knowledge in embedded system design, using micro-controllers, analog and digital system design; and knowledge of the scripting language like C/C++, Assembly, Python, LabVIEW, and/or Linux programming
Good communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English
Desirable Requirements
Good understanding in programming, scripting language that can work independently on coding or with sufficient knowledge on web-based SW/FW application. Familiar with PSU topology, computer architectures like x86 and/or Arm based system will be a plus.
Experience in using CAD, MATLAB, SPICE and allegro will be a plus.
