You will be part of the strategy team with high visibility within Dells executive leadership team. Work is typically organized around project-based engagements and you will be working with talents from various backgrounds, including but not limited to management consultants, research analysts, and investment bankers. You will be working in Complexity Management and Design-to-Leverage projects for 2 years before potentially rotating to other opportunities within or outside strategy team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage the level of complexity across notebook/desktop/AIO key commodities within Global Operations

• Develop cross-generation and cross-platform leverage strategies for responsible commodities and influence Product Group in commodity choice

• Evaluate and analyze commodity-related requests, provide recommendations to facilitate executive decision making, and deliver regular executive readout on commodity complexity and leverage status

Key competencies include:

• Strong understanding in product and commodity roadmap

• Ability to conduct scenario analyses, build and validate business case, and make recommendations

• Maintain good relationship with key stakeholders • Excellent interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and problems

• Detailed-oriented personality to execute daily operations • Fast learner and thought leader

• Great story-lining and presentation skills to clearly communicate messages

The team will have frequent exposure across different functions, including Operations, Product Marketing, Engineering executives. This role is designed as an entry point for high potential candidates.

Qualifications
• Education background
o Minimum: Bachelor Degree major in business administration
o Preferred: Business Administration related master degree
• Strong analytical thinking, advanced excel, problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex
• Sourcing decisions with basic programming skill as plus
• Market research and trend analysis skills
• Basic strategic planning skills
• Strong leadership and team building skills and the ability to engage functional organization
• Program/project management skills and the ability to gain respect of cross functional organization
