Dell is seeking a Principal Systems Development Engineer to help develop innovative new memory solutions for Cloud & Emerging Technologies portfolio working with a high-performing systems engineering team focused on the integration of legacy and emerging memory technologies.The integration of this critical commodity and the emerging memory technology into HW/SW subsystems represents a complex, exciting and challenging area of growth in the Enterprise computing segment.

What you’ll achieve
In this high-visibility position, you will provide technical and business direction for your team, partner with platform development and systems engineering teams globally, and facilitate the integration of key technologies via design activities both within your team and across the broader client and server engineering organizations. Responsibilities also include managing technical and business relationships with technology partners.
Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

BS EE or CE degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of experience in memory IP, system design or architecture. 2+ years of experience in leading technical development activities
Ability to manage multiple projects and produce deliverables in a timely and accurate manner. Track record of delivery against deadlines is required
Business relationship experience with technology suppliers
Proven ability to lead cross-functional development teams. Persuasive communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving. Ability to learn and apply statistical analysis to complex business problems. Exemplarily ‘How’ behaviors in pursuit of results·
