What you’ll achieve
As a SC Strategy & Agile COE Senior Advisor, you will work on the most critical challenges and opportunities in Global Operations and launch, coach and develop Agile teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver critical projects and communicate achievements to key stakeholders.

Desired background

  • 7+ years of Agile experience
  • Experience in a variety of supply chain roles, preferably working on cross-functional efforts
  • Strong track record of delivering business results

  • Able to quickly understand and break down complex business problems into smaller modules
  • Comfort and skill translating business problems into analytical tasks and planning those tasks appropriately
  • Experience extracting relevant business insights from analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on the most important tasks, limiting work to the highest-value activities
  • Ability to look across multiple efforts across the organization

  • Willing to challenge the status quo, create change within the organization, and work through ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to reach across the aisle and partner with different functions
  • Experience developing individuals to their full potential by providing honest feedback and appropriate coaching

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Comfortable working with and influencing up-and-down the organization, including company’s most senior leaders


Solves critical business problems

  • Conduct extensive research and coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect critical data
  • Analyze and synthesize data to derive implications and insights
  • Support the formulation of recommendations as part of a Strategy project team
  • Develop strategies to enhance supply chain resiliency and transform operational performance
  • Prepare relevant material to share insights and drive alignment with stakeholders
  • Comfort with a fast-paced dynamic environment and ability to carry out detailed and accurate data analysis on a consistent basis

Drives business results

  • Works with Agile Product Owners breaking down complex business problems to create and refine product backlog
  • Facilitates and guides teams to prioritize and sequence their backlog
  • Engages Product Owner and Scrum master to help prioritize and overcome obstacles

Directs new way of working

  • Accurately and independently delivers Agile training modules, including Agile practices (Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Scaled Scrum, etc.) and tools (Jira, Planview, Jira Align, TFS, Slack, etc.)
  • Actively coaches Product Owner and Scrum Master by observing team and applying best demonstrated Agile practices

Ensures Best Agile practices

  • Develops Dell’s Agile capabilities, designs “playbook” for launching Agile teams, compiles best practices from experience
  • Is an active and vocal advocate of Agile practices within Global Operations and across Dell
  • Identifies new opportunities to deploy Agile across Dell and maintains coordination across existing Agile efforts
  • Assists with the identification, collection and reporting of agile practice metrics and measurements for the Dell Agile Center of Excellence
  • Works with multiple teams to determine their current level of agile maturity, developing plans to improve agile processes and increase the productivity of the scrum team accordingly
