What you’ll achieve

As a Data Service manager, you will drive fast time to value marketing performance measurement solutions that result in real business outcomes, actions and decisions using big data technologies and applying best practices in DataOps and DevOps. Working with global marketing teams across marketing functions, you will drive transformation in marketing through innovative solutions, demonstrating their relevance and guiding optimization and automation in collaboration with marketing science development and support team members.  If you love changing the status quo and empowering the curious to engineer marketing excellence, come join the best and brightest in marketing science to make “digital transformation” real.

You will:

  • Lead data service and governance team that turns data into actionable insights, enabling rapid innovation decision systems that use marketing data science/AI/ML to predict and model outcomes and enable and automate decisions on marketing activities while tackling complex data engineering challenges.

  • Provide and deliver on strategic recommendations for senior management, identifying opportunities, setting goals, deliverables, preempt dependencies and set priorities on data service, business continuity and knowledge management roadmaps according to marketing science and stakeholder needs.

  • Develop and manage consumable data service for marketing data science and operations needs.  Drive scalability, reliability, automation and innovation, working with, evolving, and optimizing the marketing science ecosystem.

  • Manage team members including hiring staff, setting team goals, and conducting performance reviews. Lead people, projects, and operations; foster teamwork and collaboration. Direct work schedules, work flow in support of project planning phases for complex solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience with BS degree, managerial/leadership background is a plus. 

  • Ability to provide thought leadership on DataOps and DevOps, achieve strategic goals, influence leadership decisions, manage team talent, and lead agile, technical development projects.

  • Experience working with large complex, hybrid multi cloud data infrastructure (relational/unstructured/cubes), potentially including data management, governance, privacy, and security to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience with analytics, data science, ETL, API's, agile/iterative development.  Ability to create reliable/maintainable code and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult data service problems using common development languages, such as SQL.

Desirable Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise in marketing systems and data (digital, media, CRM, campaigns)

  • Quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements
