Join us as a Technical Staff, Software System Engineer on our On-Prem Cloud Controller (OPCC) SoftwareEngineering team in US to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve
As an architect in OPCC team, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

  • Own architectural relationship with other teams in Apex engineering, POs, Product Management, CTIO to align integration of various on-prem components software in APEX infrastructure solution, on a per release basis.

  • Drive and sustain delineation and demark of operational process ownership for lifecycle management and security with required partner organizations.

  • Represent OPCC in all engagements requiring knowledge of OPCC capabilities for device management use cases

  • Working with Product Owners drive change in architecture, integrations  and features where required to maintain the lightweight stateless tenets for OPCC

  • Mentor team members in design collaboration, product architecture

  • Lead the design discussions, gather inputs and set architectural direction for the team

  • Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery

  • Strong and proven software architectural background

  • Proven track record of deliver complex software solutions

  • Collaboration & Influencing

  • Domain Driven Design, design patterns, desired state architecture

  • MTLS, X.509, Websockets

  • MFT / MQTT

  • Suse Linux (SLE-S & SLE-M)

  • RKE2, CNI/Networking Emphasis

  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) experience


Desirable Requirements

  • Management of Multiple Dell Products, PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerEdge/iDRAC, PowerSwitch

  • Storage background
