Telecom Software Systems Architecture Engineer

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Systems Architecture Engineer, you will be a part of a team in a very fast paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgement and creative thinking.  

You will:

  • Lead our design efforts to build out a micro-services-based software platform to provide the software services enablement strategy for our Telecom business.
  • Mentor team members in design collaboration, architecture reviews, technology selection and feature development
  • Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery and support
  • Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery

Essential Requirements

  • 13+ years of software development and architecture experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly
  • Significant Technical Knowledge of Kubernetes and Dev-Ops/Automation enablement Software Technologies

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
