Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

What you'll achieve

As the Webinar Strategist you will be building and leading our North America webinar program, working with internal partners in delivering best-in-class webinars that generate awareness, interest, engagement, pipeline and sales ready leads. This person has a passion for the virtual event space and vision for the impact and potential. We are looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, organized, data-driven and communicative and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

You will:

  • Run logistics and communication of webinar programs with flawless execution, while continuously assessing operational and creative opportunities to up-level the program

  • Manage the webinar schedule and the production of webinars — including everything from building registration pages, invites, SFDC campaigns, to giveaways, speaker dry-runs, and reporting

  • Lead the North America webinar program strategy in partnership with our Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Communications/Influencer and Global marketing counterparts

  • Manage and recommend promotional tactics like email, social & display, to drive registration, relevance, and on-demand views of our webinar content

  • Drive communications with key stakeholder teams across Sales and Marketing, including field marketing and product marketing teams with goal of increased mindshare and awareness for resources of the program. Provide regular monthly readouts on what’s working/opportunities/upcoming sessions

  • Assist with content strategy and support Campaigns team governance council meetings

  • Track industry and internal best practices on content, platforms, customer experience and trends. Recommend topics, approach and best practices, and assess process to make it happen

  • Produce regular reports measuring webinar contribution, effectiveness, and impact and provide recommendations on start/stop/continue based on results

  • Interact with stakeholders to manage webinar deliverables, content, speakers, and delivery

Essential requirements:

  • 6+ years professional experience with proven success in the webinar field or a similar discipline — including the planning, execution, and optimization of webinars and digital content

  • Comfortable with deadlines, deliverables, and change

  • Obsessive project management and organizational skills. Close attention to detail, deadlines, and quality

  • Highly communicative. Able to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and secure buy-in on content projects from peers, technical subject matter experts, executives, and external customers or partners

  • Past experience in using Salesforce and/or other marketing tools related to campaigns

  • Experience and love for cross-functional execution, maximizing opportunities by continuously collaborating across teams and vehicles

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing in the tech industry or at a startup is a plus

  • Understanding of APIs, integration technology, or enterprise IT solutions is a plus

  • Strong analytical and research abilities with a constant curiosity for learning within a fast-paced, evolving environment


Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree

  • Additional languages

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms, Cvent, Go2Webinar and BrightTalk is a plus
