What you’ll achieve

The Director of Sales Engineer and Partner Sales reports to the GM in Japan and is responsible for leading a team of sales engineers and partner sales. This includes hiring, training, managing, and mentoring team members. This role is a hybrid position that requires technical sales expertise and channel sales development.  

Our service portfolio is comprised of the following: Security Management and Orchestration, Vulnerability Management Services, Advanced Threat Services, Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence Services, Cloud Security, Emergency and Proactive Incident Response, Strategic Advisory Services, Security Program Development, Risk Management, Controls and Compliance, and Adversarial Security Testing.

You will:

-Grow booking & revenue by driving new customer & partner acquisition as well as cross-sell opportunities, with strong collaboration with related GTM teams such as Direct Sales Group, Inside Sales Group, Marketing, Sales Operation etc.

-Make Annual Plan and Growth Initiative projects based on Japan Yearly Plan
 for Sales Engineer team and Partner Business Group

-Drive the necessary business, strategic and technical relationships with partners to establish new business in those accounts  

-Provide regular coaching and account strategy sessions with sales engineers and partner sales

-Share with Japan President, related Head Quarter Executives, Japan GTM teams regarding customer and market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive information in order for Japan team to win against competitors in terms of solution and technical selling.

-Work closely with Service Business Units (Managed Security Service and Security Risk Consulting) teams for sizing and scoping PSO opportunities as well as regular communication to expand their business

-Perceived as a client advocate to ensure all service issues are resolved and
 the client experience is enhanced 

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years for leading Sales Engineer within the Security Sector

  • 7+ years for people management as a leader, manager etc.

  • Seasoned Business Leader who can make Busienss Plan, execution of the plan, lead and Inspire the team, and win customer and Partner trust.

  • Channel Sales experience

  • Experience in combination of technology and services; preferably managed security services/SaaS security products

  • Proven ability to learn in a very fast-paced environment

  • Must be a team player - ability to interact with teammates and partners fairly, and respectfully; proactive / results-driven / strong problem solving skills

  • Business English Level

  • Bachelor’s degree
