Key Responsibilities

  • Represents a balanced sales effort of professional, consulting, or outsourcing knowledge and selling skills
  • Is responsible for working with the portfolio and other cross-functional teams to assist in determining whether a proposed solution is more broadly leverage able and helps to create it in a way that takes into account best practices and serves to more easily enable its future reuse.
  • Provides sales support in developing solutions, partners with Principal Solutions Principal and coordinates the development of activities across multiple functional areas to enable a response to an RFP.
  • Assist in growing the territory/region/account base/named services accounts to attain financial objectives
  • Understands customers’ business and solutions requirements
  • Leads solution process and utilizes all available resources to manage professional services accounts and support new logo persuits


You will:

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the breadth of DTMS offerings across Dell Technologies.

  • Displays strong listening skills in discussions with the customer, understands how EMC can provide solutions.

  • Assigned to highly complex named accounts.

  • Gains access to and manages relationships with department heads.

  • Leads through the entire sales process and delegates tasks

  • Acts as a thought leader and expert to junior professional-level staff.

  • Promote new capabilities across all accounts.

  • Educate Dell Technologies sales force in the new capabilities

  • Provide Dell Technologies sales teams in Japan (APJ) with target customer profiles and qualification criteria.

  • Identify opportunities and build pipeline.

  • Engage regularly in sales meetings – regular district and account meetings.

  • Drive opportunities with Dell Technologies account leads

    Adhere to DTMS governance framework.

  • Able to act as a coach and mentor where required
