<ファイナンス・デベロップメント・プログラムについて>
ファイナンス・デベロップメント・プログラム（FDP）は、2年間で4種類のローテーションを組み、MBAスタイルの実践的なカリキュラム、ケーススタディ、メンタリングプログラム、体系的な評価・フィードバックプロセス、特別プログラムのインセンティブ、ネットワーキング活動等で構成される開発プログラムです。
主な職務
- 財務パフォーマンスと影響分析
- プロセスレビューと改善提案
- 戦略的イニシアチブの実行
- 営業部門を含む非財務部門との協業（価格交渉、契約など）
- 授業、ケーススタディ、テスト、個人研究プロジェクト、地域会議など
ローテーションは以下の通りです。
- CSBファイナンス＆オペレーション：小売およびeコマース事業を推進するビジネスをFDPとして支援し、分析の実行、四半期決算の管理、事業の日次/週次/四半期目標の確認を行います。
- グローバル・ビジネス・オペレーションズ（GBO）：コマーシャル・セールスおよびエンタープライズ・セールスの財務およびオペレーション・パートナーとして、大企業向けエンタープライズビジネスをサポートします。過去には、営業組織や投資戦略の分析を通じてGTMとSales Enablementをサポートし、営業プロセスの可視化プロジェクトをリードしたこともあります。
- プロフェッショナル・サービス・ファイナンス（PS）：PSはテクノロジー導入の戦略的ガイダンスと専門的な実行を通じて、クライアントの目標達成を支援、コンサルティングを行います。FDPとして、日本のPSのビジネスパートナーおよびコントローラーとして活動します。サービス収入のトラッキングや、収益認識によるマイナスの影響を防ぐためのコストコントロール・プロジェクトのリーダーなどを担当することもあります。
- デルファイナンシャルサービス（DFS）： DFSはリース、レンタル、従量制のソリューションを通じて、デル・テクノロジーが販売する製品およびサービスに対する顧客の資金調達を促進するチームです。FDPとして、より効率的で効果的なプロセス、および将来に備えたチームを作ることを目的とした様々なイニシアチブのポートフォリオでプロジェクトマネージャーを務めていただきます。

- Finance領域への強い興味・関心
- GPA3.4以上または同等以上
- 2023年4月～2024年3月の間に大学（学部・修士とも）を卒業見込みの方
- 英語と日本語（バイリンガル）での高いコミュニケーション能力

- ファイナンス、アカウンティング、ビジネス専攻の学生で、現在修士課程に在籍している方

We are seeking new university graduates to join our Finance Team in Dell Technologies Japan. Our Finance Team has a broad and important responsibility. We rely on our analysts to develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for planning and control. Our technical analysis of present and future financial performance informs all kinds of management decisions and strategies, and their research has an impact on everything from acquisitions and investments to customer deals and forecasting.

Our Finance Development Program (FDP) is an accelerated development program consisting of 4 different rotations over 2 years, MBA-style practical curriculums, case studies, mentoring programs, a structured appraisal/feedback process, special program incentives, and networking activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial performance and impact analyses
- Process reviews and improvement recommendations
- Execution of strategic initiatives
- Collaboration with non-finance functions including Sales (e.g., pricing negotiations, contracts, etc.)
- Classes, case studies, tests, individual research projects, and regional conferences
You will: The following is a list of functions available for your rotations.
- CSB Finance & Operations: Consumer and Small Business (CSB) is an exciting place to drive the retail and e-commerce business. As an FDP, you will assist senior financial leaders to run analyses, ensure quarter-close compliance and drive daily/weekly/quarterly goals for the business.
- Global Business Operations: Global Business Operations (GBO) is the finance and operations partner to Commercial and Enterprise Sales, which targets Dell Technologies’ 2nd largest addressable enterprise market. Because of this range, GBO can offer various roles for FDPs. In the past, FDPs have supported GTM & Sales Enablement through analyses for new sales organization/investment strategies while leading a sales process visualization project.
- Professional Services Finance: Professional Services (PS) helps clients achieve their goals through strategic guidance and expert execution in technology adoption through deployment and consulting. As an FDP, you will act as a business partner and controller for Japan’s PS. Responsibilities may include tracking services revenue and leading a cost-controlling project to prevent negative impact from revenue recognition.
- Dell Financial Services: Dell Financial Services (DFS) is our financing arm, facilitating customer financing of products and services sold by Dell Technologies through leases, rentals, and pay-as-you-go solutions. As an FDP, you will be project manager on a diverse portfolio of initiatives aimed to create more efficient and effective processes as well as a future-ready team.
- Strong interest in finance
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or equivalent
- Expected graduation from university (both undergrad and masters) between April 2023 and March 2024
- Less than 12 months of working experience
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese (bilingual)
- Finance, accounting, or business major students, currently pursuing a master’s degree
- Self-driven and self-disciplined
- Eager and able to learn quickly
- Analytical and enjoys problem-solving
- Agile and innovative thinker
- Favors and excels in a global environment
- Has leadership potential
