What you’ll achieve
The Senior Manager Sales Engineering - EMEA North is responsible for providing our field sales professionals with proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.
Manages Sales Engineering individual contributors focused on larger or more complex accounts or Specialists deployed on larger or more complex opportunities plus may manage junior managers; establishes operational objectives for team(s)
Sets focus and direction for sales engineers and/or product specialists aligned to industry vertical or business
Drives focus with cross-business and cross-functional resource and drives business process improvement efforts
Understands complexities of the environment and works within Dell to solve complex business issues
Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly and consults with customer’s technical management

5+ years prior experience managing and mentoring teams of high-performing technology professionals with a proven track record in technology sales/consulting within Enterprise Software, Cloud,Data Management, or other disruptive technologies.
Excellent analytical skills and with an ability to communicate and gain consensus across functions on complex subjects through effective data-driven storytelling.
Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and ability to execute sales plans.
Successful track record in establishing, maintaining, and managing customer and stakeholder relationships at Manager, Director, VP and C levels.
