Networking Sales Specialist

We are currently looking for a Networking Sales Specialist to join our high-performance Dell Technologies Select team that serves our largest Global customers. We are looking for a motivated individual who strives to exceed expectations to ensure our Clients' success, but not afraid to challenge the status quo. The Networking Sales Specialist is a quota carrying, technical sales resource focused on driving the end-to-end sale of Dell Technologies’ Centre Networking and Edge Solutions portfolio. This is an Outside Sales opportunity and the candidate should expect to spend >50% of their time travelling/in client meetings. 

The Networking Sales Specialist will work in collaboration with front line Global Client Executive teams to drive Dell Technologies’ Networking solutions based on a thorough understanding of both short and long term customer requirements. As an integral part of the Dell Technologies sales team they are responsible for providing subject matter expertise to both customers and the Account teams to ensure that all requirements and objectives are met. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and implementation of sales strategies, thoughtful discovery of customer requirements and subsequent solution proposal development, delivery of product presentations, product demonstrations, and customer focused seminars. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Gains access and manages relationships with executive level personnel and decision makers  
  • Demonstrates the value of a complex Networking Solutions to advance customers business outcomes 
  • Provides Market insight and thought leadership to target customers in regards to applicability of our Networking Solutions, products and services. 
  • Uses a complete and expert understanding of the industry, competitors, and market place to present a highly differentiated and positive value of our solution  
  • Leverages third party/channel expertise on a regular basis as part of complex solutions to position the overall value of our solution 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Data Center, Edge and latest networking technology & solutions. 
  • Expert in Network industry competitive landscape 
  • Establishes thought leadership in technical specialty area with customers 
  • Demonstrates strong communication and written skills with ability to engage from customer networking admin, IT management, as well as C-level executives 
  • Demonstrated ability to work as the solution lead for large complex opportunities at a Regional and global level 
  • Typically requires 10+ years of field Sales Experience holding a Bachelor’s degree in a IT/Business Information related subject
