Hi, my name is Astrid. I graduated with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and recently completed my Masters in Business Administration (MBA). I am also a Certified Scrum Master.

My journey at Dell started in October of 2020 on the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) team. In the beginning, my work was on the team's documentation, and I have since become a Project Manager. I have enjoyed my time at Dell and the work I have done, and I am always looking forward to new challenges. Being part of a global team has been something that I have enjoyed the most. Connecting with different cultures and seeing how much value diversity adds to Dell is truly amazing. With that being said, I want to share my three tips for finding success for early in career team members at Dell Technologies.

Tip #1 - Attitude IS Key

Roughly 80% of your success will be defined by attitude, and the rest is aptitude. Be humble and show willingness to learn. Find mentors, ambassadors, and senior team members who will guide and support you in your career journey.

Tip #2 - Communicate Your Challenges

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! At Dell, work is done in teams. We are here to support each other along the way.

Tip #3 - Embrace Change

Change is a constant. There will always be an opportunity for new challenges and growth while at Dell. Opportunities will arise when you are introduced to new teams, roles, or business units. There is always a valuable lesson to learn- everything happens for a reason.
