Dell Business Partnerships team will require a new senior sales person to join the Alternative Routes to Market team. The role will require key partners onboarding & management, customer visits, Dell created events management / attendance and big events Dell representations.

The Business Development Organization is a strategic team within our Small Business Sales Organization focused on identifying new routes to market, developing & establishing relationships with key associations, chambers of commerce’s, local incubators, start-ups and entrepreneurial hubs to promote our end to end solutions at Dell Technologies. 
We are hiring a business development professional to help further develop our business & grow our market share within these verticals. This person will be responsible for developing partnerships within strategic companies.
This role is focused on developing new business opportunities and interacts directly with partners on a daily basis, both by regular customer connections & steering face to face relationships during customer visits or during events.

You will be responsible for influencing sales by securing marketing placements and developing unique program opportunities within your specific set of accounts. The ideal candidate will find creative ways to engage key influencers to gain their support in active promotion of our offers and campaigns. Our strategic account managers work with large amounts of information and must be comfortable drawing conclusions and driving actions from their analysis. Also, they will be responsible to coordinate Sales team enablement activities to ensure the end-to-end execution of the plan.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive acquisition of New & Development of existing Associations, Partnerships, Incubators and Accelerators into the program. Efforts will include prospecting and onboarding new partners, customer visits, relationship building and forecasting for potential growth opportunities.
  • Utilize sales tools and marketing resources to drive balanced growth between core account set and new account acquisition.
  • Responsible for weekly performance forecast & reporting.
  • Work cross-segment, across various internal organizations and resolve customer and segment partner escalations. Engage outbound sales support team to follow up on prospective leads and prioritization of outbound call activities.
  • Candidate will need to be able to deliver Director level presentations/briefings

●Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales work experience with Bachelor's / Master’s degree, experience with a base pay and commission structure
  • Ability to think strategically, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to identify core issues and propose solutions throughout the various phases of a negotiation, carrying the negotiation to a close, inclusive of identifying areas for improvement and taking the negotiation to the next phase, supported by a complete ownership mindset
  • Experience with in-person customer meetings and customer facing presentations
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to identify core issues and propose solutions throughout the various phases of a negotiation, carrying the negotiation to a close, inclusive of identifying areas for improvement and taking the negotiation to the next phase.
  • Strong leadership skills and an ownership mindset
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization
  • Strong understanding and project experience in business strategies and drivers
  • Experience with in-person customer meetings and customer facing presentation skills are highly appreciated
  • Effective project and change management skills and experience
  • Ability to communicate and interact with executive leadership
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
