Trade Compliance advises and manages the business from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.

What you’ll achieve

An instrumental role in the Dell Technologies Trade Compliance support for the end-to-end new product launch and supply chain, Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and Export Classification Control Number ECCN) product classification, Export Licensing management, international documentation, oversight to US Customs programs, and customs broker management. This role provides strategic and tactical support in developing, enabling, and managing international supply chains, assess global trade risk and provides mitigation strategies. In addition, the role will achieve key initiatives and company goals through utilizing strategic skills to oversee international trade programs and customs regulations changes, analytical skills to assess customs fees and duties, and ensure compliance to trade regulations and policies.

You will:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including export controls and sanctions, while managing the AI and other advanced computing Trade processes to support the business e.g., classification, licensing, documentation, etc.
• Advise on international trade regulations and compliance requirements
• Manage the various complex lanes of business and provide support relating to but not limited to export compliance, export licensing and order screening escalations
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient import/export operations
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Trade (import/export) Compliance Professional or related degree, certification(s), or professional license
• Working knowledge of US Trade (import/export) regulations and understanding of the complexities and requirements of international business
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas i.e., Legal, Global Supply Chain, etc., and the ability to work independently to deliver completed staff work

Desirable Requirements

• Trade Related Certifications e.g., LCB, CUSECO, ECoP, etc.
• Bilingual or multilingual

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $84,235 - $109,010.
