As an Platform Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships

You will:

• Responsible to develop technical solutions to meet business requirements

• Assist in training, work assignment and mentoring of less experienced developers

• Provide training and mentor other engineers when required

• Be a domain specialist in one or more technical programming specialties

Essential Requirements

• 6+ years of strong experience with Linux and storage fundamentals, Kubernetes networking, storage RBAC, POD Security, Operator SDK/Use of Fabric8 API

• Knowledge of networking, service mesh (e.g., Istio, NGINX). Programming - Shell scripting, Python, HELM, Automation - Ansible, CICD

• Strong working experience with application architecture, HA, DR, Infrastructure services (DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, TLS certs, web servers, reverse proxies, GIT

• Broad knowledge in systems telemetry and monitoring (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace Splunk, etc.)

• Experience with Agile methodologies, effective working independently and in a virtual team setting.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science
